On Tuesday, it was reported that the Department of State Services (DSS) had apprehended Mukaila Lamidi, also known as Auxiliary, the embattled chairman of the Oyo State Park Management System.
According to a senior government official speaking to Leadership, Auxiliary was taken into custody by DSS operatives on Tuesday afternoon.
At present, the motive behind the arrest remains unclear.
The DSS spokesman, Peter Afunnanya was unable to pick his calls, to confirm the report.
The arrest is coming ten years after Auxiliary was arrested during the administration of late former governor Abiola Ajimobi.
It would be recalled that Auxilliary, who was at a point dreaded in Ibadan, the state’s capital, was arrested by the Ajimobi administration around the third week of May, 2014.
He was finally jailed in 2016 and released towards the tail end of the government in 2018.
