“Why I Don’t Flaunt My Achievements On Social Media” – Wizkid (VIDEO)

Grammy award-winning Nigerian superstar singer, Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, has finally opened up on why he prefers not to flaunt his achievements on social media.

During a recent podcast interview, the most decorated artist in Africa revealed his reasons for keeping his achievements private.

Wizkid recounted how he and his siblings often went without meals during their childhood.

Growing up in a large household of 11 children, with four siblings from his mother, Wizkid emphasized that these experiences played a huge role in how he viewed life and fame.

He revealed that his past struggles have kept him on a leash and made him know how to handle fame.

He said:

“I came from the bottom, I know what it feels like not to have anything. There was a time in my life when I had never even had breakfast; it was just lunch or maybe dinner.”
