Gombe gov visits Dantata’s family in Kano

The Chairman of the Northern States Governors’ Forum and Governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, on Friday, led a high-powered delegation on a condolence visit to the family of the late business magnate and philanthropist, Alhaji Aminu Dantata, in Kano.

The Gombe State governor was received at the Dantata family residence in the Koki area of Kano by the eldest son of the deceased, Alhaji Tajudeen Dantata, alongside elder statesman, Alhaji Sani Daura and other members of the family.

During the visit, Yahaya described the late Dantata as an iconic figure in Nigerian commerce and philanthropy whose life and legacy had a far-reaching impact beyond the Northern region.

“We have lost a pillar of integrity, industry, and humility. His life was one of service, generosity, and unwavering commitment to the progress of Nigeria.
